British artist creating highly-coloured paintings focussing on decorative still life, stylised nudes and semi-abstract figures, and producing mural commissions for UK clients. She was born in Lancashire and studied Fine Art at Leeds University in the 1960's under Professor Quentin Bell. At the same time she continued to develop her highly-coloured paintings, exhibiting in galleries in East Anglia and elsewhere. Her paintings have been purchased by private collectors throughout the UK.
She paints mainly in acrylics, a medium which suits her particular style, which is characterised by strong colour and composition. Her subject matter includes decorative still life, nudes, semi-abstract figures, flowers, and animals, all treated in a very stylised manner.
