In order to counter Leonardo's powerful image of the last supper, BASIC in 1998 commissioned the eminent Polish artist Bohdan Piasecki to paint the Last Supper as a Jewish Passover meal with women and children present. The painting is oil on canvas measuring 58" by 29" (148cm by 74cm). BASIC seeks to present the painting to as wide an audience as possible by offering prints, cards and framed copies on canvas for sale through the publishers.
