Jan de Vries is one of the UK's leading practitioners of alternative healthcare and operates seven Healthcare Clinics
providing treatment and advice to patients, young and old. In addition there are five Health & Diet Centres offering
a wide range of herbal medicines, healthfoods and therapeutic gift ranges. Jan has had a lifelong career in
complementary medicine and during that time has seen many changes in the attitudes and approaches to alternative
healthcare.
Traditionally, patients turned to alternative healthcare for treatments such as osteopathy to give
relief from back pain but, with the varying negative influences on our health nowadays, people are not only seeking more
natural forms of treatment, such as herbal medicine and homeopathy, they are following a more naturopathic philosophy
to life.
Alternative healthcare has become an accepted part of society in the UK and as its popularity and
